Christine is a movie with a huge cult following directed by John Carpenter and based on the novel by Stephen King. It tells the story of Arnie Cunningham, a troubled youth who is determined on buying his first car. Even with warnings by the previous owner and his closest friend Dennis Guilder, Arnie decides to purchase Christine and all the trouble that follows her. Dennis, Arnie’s closest friend and the voice of reason in this movie, his ride of choice is a gorgeous 1968 Dodge Charger with unique blue paint. The Charger creates a strong presence in the movie essentially being the hero’s trusty companion.
