RCSP015/24 Round 2 Racing Champions Mint - 1931 Cadillac® V16 Cabriolet. 1:64 scale diecast collectible model. 6-car set. These cars are about 2.75" long, authentic factory colors, diecast metal body. Detailed chassis and detailed interiors. 6 pcs/inner. Manufactured by Round 2. Each car individually blister carded. Card size: 5.5" x 7.5". Item RCSP015/24 is in Burnt Orange and Brown with White top.

From 1930 to 1940, the Cadillac® V16 was the top-of-the-line of luxury and power. It was available in 10 different body style configurations. It was also the most expensive vehicle coming from Cadillac®. Only 4076 total variations of the V16 were built during its 11-year production period. In 1931 alone, only 750 units were built. Incredibly, every V16 vehicle was built to custom specifications based on each individual order.

The V16 engine was unique. The basic structure resembled two inline eight-cylinder motors sharing a common crankshaft. Placed on 45-degree angles from each other, each half of the engine had its own fuel source and exhaust system. All that machinery and power was tamed by the use of an industry-first overhead valve setup with hydraulic adjustment. This made the car extremely quiet during operation.
