The Daytona was a one-year wonder - only built in 1969. The Daytona prototype started with a Charger body, but a front nosepiece added 19 inches, and the rear sported a 25-inch wing! The cars were built specifically for NASCAR racing, but a certain number also had to be available to the publice, so the stock versions are highly sought after by collectors.
