This '77 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is a 10.25"L x 4"W x 2.5"H diecast metal car with steerable front wheels, openable hood, and doors. Featuring a serialized chassis and detailed engine, accurate interior, and chassis. This 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is manufactured by Auto World. Individually packed in a window box. Box size: 13.25"L x 6.25"W x 5"H. AMM1160 is in Buccaneer RED color. GM is a trademark of the General Motors Corporations.

The 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am received a facelift from the previous year. The distinct slant-nose with a divided grill and four rectangular headlights of years past. The redesign was a success for Pontiac. They made a total of 68,745 units of the Trans AM in its various versions for 1977. That is an increase of over 22,000 from the previous year. The increase, in part, could be the popularity of the film Smokey and the Bandit released the same year.

Auto World has replicated this 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in Buccaneer Red with Matching red interior. Draped across the shaker hood is the iconic gold-and-black bird graphic. Under the hood is a highly detailed 400ci 6.6L W72 8-Cylinder engine.
