Dear Customer,

This is a VERY important and time-sensitive matter, for those of you who purchase products from us and resell it on Amazon.  This excerpt below is from our licensor General Motors:

"Dear General Motors Licensee, 

We have noticed Amazon taking more action against counterfeit products, which we fully support. However, along with these actions, there has been an increase in legitimate product being suppressed on Amazon without any initiation from us.  While it is helpful to know Amazon is actively working to protect our brands, they have no way of knowing which products are authentic, licensed products.  In order to resolve this issue, Amazon is asking for a list of our authorized sellers and their respective MCIDs (Amazon Seller IDs).  Once Amazon has this information on file, they can protect authorized sellers from potential takedown efforts.  Amazon has requested a comprehensive list all at once, so please respond by no later than 12/31/2020 so we may submit a full list to them at the beginning of 2021.  Let me or your direct brand contact know if you have any questions and thank you for your participation."

Our company is preparing a list of MCIDs (Amazon Seller IDs) that we will turn over to General Motors, who in turn will then submit the list to Amazon to whitelist.  Please email Kathy Lee ([email protected]) your MCID so we can add it to the list.  I am expecting other licensors (e.g. Ford, Fiat Chrysler, Volkswagen,...) to hopefully be making a similar request and once we have your MCID, we will automatically include it on their list.
