Something is Awry with the Timeline

If you ever watch episodes of the Big Bang Theory, probably the ultimate show about four nerds, there are frequent references to Star Trek episodes. To my embarrassment, I fully understand all the references to Star Trek characters, encounters and mentioned episodes. To my shock, one of my favorite Star Trek episodes called "Yesterday's Enterprise" aired 14 years ago. Where has the time gone? So I write this article in both shock and embarrassment.
So the plot of this particular episode called "Yesterday's Enterprise" starts like this.
The Enterprise-D encounters a rift in space-time while on a routine mission. For those of you who are not hip to the show, the Enterprise-D is the space ship that Captain Picard (played by Patrick Stewart) commands. As they monitor the anomaly, the heavily damaged USS Enterprise-C, a ship believed destroyed more than two decades earlier, emerges.
Instantly, the Enterprise-D undergoes a sudden and radical change: Instead of the Enterprise-D being a diplomatic and scientific vessel of peace and exploration, it is now a warship and the Federation is at war with the Klingons. Neither Worf nor Counselor Troi are seen or referred to, and Tasha Yar runs the tactical station. So two major characters on the show disappear and everyone on board thinks that is perfectly normal. What kind of made it interesting was that Tasha Yar had died in a previous Star Trek series and in a previous season, but now Tasha is back manning her same post. None of the crew noticed the change, but Guinan (played by Whoopi Goldberg) senses that reality has changed, and has a meeting with Captain Picard.
She gets an audience with the Captain and says, for example, "There are supposed to be children aboard this ship."
The Captain gives her a incredulous look and reply, "Children aboard a warship?"; which of course is totally impractical and illogical. Guinan suggests that the Enterprise-C does not belong in their time and should return to the past. Picard, who knows that this would be a death sentence to anyone sent back, so he refuses to give such an order -based on Guinan's intuition alone. Guinan is an interesting character herself. On the show, she isn't human from Earth; but comes from another ancient world. Though she doesn't look it, she is older than anyone else on board the ship. She is even older than the Enterprise-C that left a moment in time 20 years ago where they were on the verge of being destroyed by this alien race called the Romulans. The Romulans had the Enterprise-C out numbered and out gunned.
Captain Rachel Garrett of the Enterprise-C and her crew learn they have traveled into the future. Garrett explains that they were responding to a distress call from the Klingon outpost on Narendra III, and were attacked by Romulan warbirds. While the crew works to repair the Enterprise-C and tend to the crew's injuries, Picard and his command staff discuss whether or not the ship should return to the past. Riker argues that their deaths would be meaningless, but Data suggests that it would be considered an honorable act by the Klingons. Picard quietly reveals to her that the Federation is on the verge of defeat and the presence of one ship will make no difference, but if the Enterprise-C were to return to the past they might prevent the war from ever starting. Or another way to put it, "We need you to return (i.e. enter the timeline) and become a sacrificial lamb."
I won't give the rest of the plot away, in case one day you want to see the episode. But the rest of the story flows like a Tom Clancy novel with a few plot twists and surprises. This old episode of Star Trek reminds me of what is going on today.
Something is awry with our current timeline. Or at least the time being purported by our scientists. There are things going on in this current timeline that shouldn't be. Just like how the Enterprise-D was suddenly transformed from a vessel of peace to a vessel of war, something occurred and cause our current timeline to be awry; things have changed, but none seem to be aware. Things are missing, but everyone around me seems to be behaving that this is normal. People all around me act like this is how it's ALWAYS been.

Just like Guinan, who made incredulous statements in the current timeline, I'm about to do the same.
"We were not originally designed to grow old."
"This world is suppose to have very powerful animals with scale armor covering all of it. And the way you can differentiate this animal from the other scaled animals is that this creature breathed fire!"
But I get incredulous looks and responses when I make statements like this. I know, even to me it sounds impractically and illogical. Though I don't have an ancient Guinan to tell how things should be or on how things have gone awry in our current timeline, I do have a single reference point who refers to himself as The Ancient of Days. He authored a book and told me how things were, how they should be, and how they will be. Maybe you have heard this book? It's called the Holy Bible.
In the next few articles, I want to delve deeper into this ancient text which I believe portions of the text are actual eye-witness accounts from the Ancient of Days. Then I want to see how it squares with what scientists are teaching/concluding today about our current timeline.
