Heads up on the Sun Star 1/18 scale model cars. Toy Wonders had purchased a large lot of Sun Star cars that had allowed us to wholesale them out at $11.00/pcs. Many of you have ordered and placed re-orders on them -thank you. These cars have been moving at a good pace and we have limited stock availability. Basically, once we stock out on the $11.00/pcs Sun Star model cars, that will probably be it for those particular cars at that pricing.

A few customers have asked me questions regarding Jada's Hobby Exclusives. Many of our individually boxed Jada Toys diecast model cars that we market are Hobby Exclusives (HE). This is not to be confused with their Collectors Cub (CC) emblem, which is available to both hobby and mass markets. Jada Toys differentiates their hobby exlusives by a different package, their H.E. stamp on the box, but most importantly color of the car. One of the marketing directors at Jada has told me that the color of their cars in their hobby exclusives line are NOT available or made for the mass market stores. As you know, color is a key factor for collector diecast cars (how many of us have loss a sale because we had the right year, the right make, the right model, but the wrong color?). I have also been told that the more of the richer metallic colors are reserved for the HE trade. Upon stopping by a Walmart and Target to confirm this, I did NOT see that either chain had HE versions in their store. Unfortunately, both big box stores did not have enough variety of vehicles for me to confirm color. As you know Jada has a very large line of different makes and models, I just saw small representation of some 1/64 scale, 1/24 and 1/18 in both stores. At this time Toy Wonders offer 441 different sku's from Jada Toys.
