About Us:
Toy Wonders is a business to business operation. We are an importer, exporter, and distributor of toys, diecast vehicles, novelties, and select gifts. Our customers are wholesale distributors, retail stores, and non-profit organizations who purchase our products who in turn supply their customers.(Please note that we require a Federal Tax ID number or State Resale certificate number from our customers). We have been marketing toys for four generations now. Our Headquarters, formerly in Taipei Taiwan, was transferred to the United States in 1983. We are currently located in Moonachie, NJ (10 minutes outside of New York City) and have branch offices in Taiwan & Hong Kong. Through these 3 offices, we service customers throughout the world. Our focus and expertise is in children's toys.
       
The Environment:
Today's fast pace of doing business necessitates that all business operations get streamlined. Industries of all types continue to consolidate through mergers and acquisitions. Smaller business that do not receive these operations-of-scale opportunities often find themselves with increasing competition and decreasing margins. It is simply imperative to find ones niche in this tumultuous marketplace.
       

Our Philosophy:
Our philosophy is to stay focused on toys and to use gifts and novelties to boost sales when the opportunity presents itself. We find that building a business solely on trendy gifts and novelties is an invitation towards disaster. Because products now have far shorter life cycles, we are even more determined to stay focused on toys that have longer life cycles. Longer life cycles translate into a longer lasting play and shelf value.

Our focus is on toys that you typically do not find at mass merchandise retail outlets. Furthermore, our focus is on toys that are targeted for children over the ages of three years old. For the few toys that we market for infants, we have specifically listed their age recommendations in the products' descriptions. For marketability and safety reasons, these age recommendations should be strictly followed.
       
Quality & Safety Matters:
Years of experience have given us knowledge on which toys sell and which toy manufacturers to seek out. We also know that a high defect rate not only hurts your bottom line, but worse -your image as well. We are especially attentive in selecting, ordering, storing and shipping products. Because Toy Wonders stands behind the quality of our entire product line, we have found it necessary to form our own quality control team to safeguards our quality standards. These standards have been achieved by developing a safety standard in conjunction with the guidelines set forth by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Food & Drug Administration. But it takes more than just a safe and quality product to make it in business today.
       
Service Matters:
The Service component is playing a larger role these days. After all it is the catalyst that gets merchandise to their final destination, as well as obtaining re-orders. Since your customers are always evaluating your products and services, it is vital that you do the same. Experienced buyers know that the price is one factor of many when it comes to service. Besides a competitive price, you want to evaluate your supplier's inventory, product selection, new products rate of introduction, lead time, product quality and stock reliability. Any weaknesses in these service components, will affect your bottom line. If you offer these services, shouldn't you find suppliers who offer the same? From the accounting department to the sales and shipping departments, you will find a dedicated team at Toy Wonders to serve your needs.
